Does The Bee hate/favor Fresno State?
As perhaps the most important single institution in The Bee’s coverage area, Fresno State merits considerable coverage in all sections of the newspaper. Like any big institution, the university has both problems and achievements worthy of coverage, and The Bee strives to report both in a balanced way. Despite its powerful role in the Valley, Fresno State has no special “clout” at The Bee and does not receive preferential treatment.
