Does the ball fly higher or lower than a normal ball?
When the side stamp arrow is pointed at your target, the ball is positioned to take advantage of the preferred spin axis and low-lift aerodynamics – both of which act to correct and minimize hooks and slices. The low-lift aerodynamics cause the ball to take a lower trajectory towards the target. For most golfers a lower trajectory also means longer roll. When the side stamp arrow is pointed perpendicular to the target (90 degrees off set from the target) the ball will then fly with normal-lift and will thus have a higher trajectory. In this configuration, the golfer will also be able to draw or fade the ball. Read more about Polara golf ball orientation.
