The MOM needs a temporary storage for the Delta files before sending them to the server. For instance: If you have a 10GB file that is already copied on the server and a 10 MB update of this file is required, you will need a minimum of 10 MB free space in the temporary directory for the Delta archive. * Note: you certainly don’t need 10 GB free space on the drive. And if you need to backup 5 x 10 GB files in the same situation, you will only need 10 MB free space (NOT 5 x 10 MB), because each Delta file will automatically be deleted after the backup.
