Does the Baby Signs® Program use American Sign Language (ASL) signs?
Most of the signs in the Baby Signs® Program are ASL signs. Some are ASL signs that have been modified to make them easier for little fingers. Still other recommended signs are gestures that closely match babies’ direct experiences. In the Baby Signs® Program, you have the flexibility to use either type of sign or a mixture of both types, depending on your goals.
