Does the Australian Technical College – Gold Coast Provide an Australian School-based Apprenticeship?
The College provides broad networking opportunities for students. Trained full time industry Employment Consultants introduce the students to employers seeking apprentices. However, we expect the students to assist us in this process by meeting the criteria that industry requires and to show a keenness to join us in the process of seeking out employment opportunities. Upon signing a training contract with an employer, the students become an Australian School-based Apprentice (ASbA). Our experience is that young people who show this keenness will succeed in the longer term.
