Does the Archives accept digital records?
At present, it’s rare. But that will be changing! Also, “accepting” digital records doesn’t necessarily mean that we take physical custody of offline storage media (tapes, CDs, etc.); nor does it necessarily mean moving digital records from “your” server onto “our” server. It’s possible to change permissions so that a group of digital records moves from your agency’s control to that of Archives Services. This will probably become our standard procedure for accessioning born digital records.
