Does the Appraise skill work in The Vast?
No, we do not, nor will we ever employ the Appraise skill in any of our merchants. It would conflict with our intended design, and merchant pricing structure. Keep this in mind when allocating skill points, as any points applied to Appraise will be wasted as far as that skill goes. We do, however, use the Appraise skill to track bonus languages your character knows in-game. Each allocated point you buy in appraise earns your character an additional known language.
