Does the appearance of the timber change over time?
All timber has natural variations in colour, which can be exaggerated after the preservative treatment process. The appearance will vary from a light green tinge to a natural honey brown before finally fading to a driftwood grey after long-term exposure to the sun. Timber is a natural living product and in time splits and cracks in the timber will occur which is a normal part of the drying process and is not detrimental to its strength.
