Does the APB-2400 work differently than a standard exit device, exit bar, push bar, or panic bar?
A. The APB-2400 works the same way as a standard exit device, exit bar, push bar, and/or panic bar. When the APB-2400 is in the unlock position, it is in the same position it would be if a key were used manually to place the panic bar in the unlocked position. The APB-2400 simply automates the process. When in the locked position the APB-2400 works exactly as standard exit devices.
