Does the ApaCenter accept insurance?
In order to provide you with the maximum control of your records and privacy as well as freedom of choice in selecting who conducts your assessment, the ApaCenter has chosen not to become a participant on any insurance plans. Moreover, insurance companies attempt to stipulate how we should conduct evaluations, and we prefer to rely upon our professional expertise and the best standards of practice to make these determinations. It is likely that you can still obtain insurance reimbursement for an ApaCenter assessment if you have a PPO insurance plan, and you choose to pursue reimbursement. We would be considered an “out-of-network” provider, and your insurance would reimburse you at a rate that depends upon your particular plan. The ApaCenter will provide you with an invoice for the services that you receive that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement. The ApaCenter does not guarantee that your insurance company will reimburse you for services because plans vary considerably
