Does the Anonymity of the Internet Allow People to be Meaner?

Not meaner, just indifferent. They can say what they like without having another person confront or look for eye contact. So, if someone’s having a bad day or they read something online they don’t like or agree with the they can say whatever they like without consequences. I say be the same on your keyboard as you would be if you were sitting next to me. Straight forward, a liitle common decency mixed in witha lot of courtesy.
