Yes, the ACR Council in 2003 passed a resolution on radiologist assistant roles and responsibilities that supported the concept of the radiologist assistant, including certification of the R.R.A. by the ARRT. The ACR continues to promote the radiologist assistant concept, address legislation and reimbursement issues, and propose standards. The ACR has provided input into ARRT’s R.R.A.
