Does the AllGreen boiler meet EPA emission standards?
The U.S. EPA has not established emission standards for INDOOR wood boilers such as the Atmos. However, a growing number of states have enacted particulate emission standards that restrict sales of OUTDOOR wood boilers. These state standards generally do not apply to the Atmos line. That said, AllGreen is very supportive of particulate emission standards. The Atmos boiler line successfully meets the standards governing sales of wood boilers in Europe. The Atmos boiler is scheduled for testing to U.S. standards in early 2011.
