Does the Aircraft Variety Bonus apply to the Cabin Class aircraft?
A. These rules are applied independently. That is, they do not contradict each other. (The 20 minute Cabin Class credit merely equalizes the speed, it is not a reward for flying this class.) So on the third successful leg in a Beech King Air, the team is awarded a 30 minute Aircraft Variety Bonus in addition to the 20 minute Cabin Class handicap credit. The fourth leg in the King Air gains no Variety Bonus but it does receive the handicap credit.
