No. The age limit (under age 26 years old as of September 1, 2006, applies only to International Masters and International Grandmasters). IMs and GMs over 25 years old are welcome to play in the Pan-Am Closed. Also, players who were degree-seeking students prior to January 1, 2004, are exempt from the age limit.
