Does the AFD option, which is available only in DAP PLUS units, impact the “Picture Shape” functionality described in Section 5.6 of the instruction manual?
The settings selected in the AFD menu (section 5.22 of manual) takes priority over the settings selected in the “Picture Shape” option (section 5.6 of manual). If you want the “Picture Shape” option to take priority, you must turn the AFD option off. In other words, you can change the setting on the “Picture Shape” parameter and receive the “input accepted” message, but it will not have any affect on picture aspect being displayed if the AFD option is turned on.
