Does the Aerolite have a stick option?
No, We chose to incorporate a stick/yoke control system to allow us to incorporate the redundancy of the dual stainless steel push/pull cable operated control surfaces. Since we have many GA pilots discovering and flying ultralight type sport aircraft. They are feeling quite at home with the yoke control used in the Aerolite. The yoke is most commonly found in today s current aircraft, also some student pilots have started out in the Aerolite as they inspire to earn a private certificate. The transition into GA type aircraft from the Aerolite is quite natural for them, also. If you currently fly stick/rudder you will have very little trouble in making this transition, even though many seem to be intimidated by the transition. Not sure why , but a couple of hours in a Cessna 150 will have you feeling right at home with the operation of a yoke control.
