Does the address book have multi-letter searching ability?
Depending on what software is on your phone it might. Your address book could have the ability to search up to the first twelve letters of an entry. Check for this feature by pressing the key, click the address book, press “SELECT”, press the key, press “Setup”, press “SELECT” and then scroll to “Search Method:”. You should have two choices: “Find” and “Jump To”. Set it to “Find” and try it out. With your address book open just start typing in the letters of a name you know is stored on the phone and then press “SEARCH”.
