Does the additional 2 year waiver exempt limited English proficient students from testing?
The Guidelines for Testing Limited English Proficient Students are still in effect. These students may be exempt from statewide testing for up to two years from the date of initial enrollment. The waiver allows students who are tested but score below Level III due to insufficient English language proficiency to still be promoted.
