Answer Subrata, Honey is made up of rapidly-absorbed carbohydrates and as such can raise your blood sugars. Cinnamon, in some studies, has been shown to have a glucose-lowering effect. It is doubtful, though, that the two are offsetting when you eat bread. I believe that your blood glucose would still rise rapidly from the addition of honey to bread.
