Does the Adaptive Mobility Systems (AMS) conversion provide a kneeling system?
No, Adaptive Mobility Systems formerly known as Handicaps Mobility has learned many lessons since our introduction into the Mobility Industry in 1979. In the past, they have repaired numerous kneeling systems from manufacturers of nearly every handicap van provider including Braun, IMS and VMI. Customers repeatedly explained that they turned this feature off because of the need for repair, which meant they were taking frequent trips to local mobility van dealers. Therefore, AMS decided to eliminate this feature from their conversion.
