Does the acknowledgement that “Good always wins over Evil” originate from God Himself?

Pandora’s Box I think well illustrates man’s hope that good will prevail over evil. The box is opened releasing evil, and all that is left is hope. Hope is what we have, that good will conquer over evil, though we are aware of the fact that the evil done (the opening of the box) cannot be undone. Thomas Aquinas said the only thing God cannot do is to make undone what has been done. If you are corrupted, God can restore you, but he can’t make it that you had **never been** corrupted. The linear nature makes that impossible, because going back in time to undo something that was done would still be an act that is part of a linear sequence of events. IOW, God can’t un-ring a bell. But he can make it stop ringing. And that’s our hope, it’s all we have.
