Yes. The Equal Employment Opportunity poster, amended in August 2008, is a mandatory change for 2009. The Employment Development Department’s Notice to Employees covering Unemployment Insurance, State Disability Insurance and Paid Family Leave includes required changes for 2009. The “Your Rights Under the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993” notice plus the military leave poster insert also include changes for employers with 50 or more employees and all “public agencies.” Finally, the federal minimum wage is also new and employers must post a notice reflecting the new minimum wage.
