Answer I can help a little here but there are questions you will need to ask yourself in conjunction to my response. I cannot answer on the legality of the (copyrighted) proprietary source code but there are attorneys on the All Experts site that can assist. I can focus on a strategy regarding the harassment situation. Oddly, and sadly, the gay comment is being used with alarming volume by the young generation and I often hear it in relation to something fitting outside the mainstream or not conforming to the social group. It is a rude judgment and inappropriate but it will be used until some other phrase takes its place. Another issue with the situation I find alarming on the increase is the lack of concern for intellectual property or law of copyrighted materials. There are widespread violations and more and more people think little of pirating a DVD movie or software for personal use.
