Does Tennessee provide a No-Fault divorce?
Technically, no; Tennessee does not provide for a No-Fault divorce. A provision is made, however for a divorce on the grounds of Irreconcilable Differences. This term is fairly self-explanatory. The difference between this type of divorce and a No-Fault divorce is grounds. In a No-Fault divorce, there need not be any grounds. Conversely, Irreconcilable Differences are grounds for this type of divorce. Any other grounds cited automatically nullifies the concept of irreconcilable differences.
