Does Tempur-Pedic bed gets more uncomfortable as years go by?
Just bought a tempurpedic deluxe eight months ago after doing research on-line about the quality and comfort of this bed. I went to a couple of stores and laid on it for a few minutes and thought it felt good (especially the way it felt next to other tempurpedic beds except the top of the line bed which retailed around $7000.) so it was the best of the tempurpedics to me. I looked into knock off beds, but because I have a bad back, I didn’t want to take a chance and went for the real thing at $2999. + s&h and tax. The first night, I felt like I was in a sink hole and had trouble turning. The smell bothered me which after four months FINALLY subsided. The bed makes me sweat. I got it around Thanksgiving and I keep my home on the cooler side, especially at night, which kept the bed very firm. Because it was so firm I bought a pillow topper to make it softer, which it did. But I continued to feel like I was climbing out of a sink hole. I’ve tried putting extra blankets beneath the pillow
