Does Temple offer free access to the Internet and the World Wide Web?

0

Yes. Temple students with PCs running at least Windows 95 or Macs running System 7.1 or higher are entitled to a free PPP connection to the Internet. This enables you to access the World Wide Web using a graphical browser such as Netscape or Internet Explorer, as well as to access e-mail. For students calling out of area, however, this connection will involve placing a toll call. While students using Windows 3.1 cannot obtain PPP accounts, they can still access their e-mail from home. For more information, call the Help Desk at 215-204-8000.
