Does temperature change affect tire pressure?
Changes in air temperature cause changes in tire pressure, which is especially important given Canadas climate. Every 5 C change in temperature results in about 1 psi change in pressure, so a temperature drop of 15 C would result in approximately 3 psi under-inflation. Therefore, it is very important to measure your tire pressure at least once a month, year-round.
