No, the free TaxACT Standard edition is just as powerful as other more expensive software packages, supporting 1040, 1040A and 1040EZ income tax returns. It also includes over 110 other forms, schedules, and worksheets, so you can be sure that the needs of your tax situation are covered. Please note that TaxACT Standard does not support 1040X Amended Returns. If you need to file a 1040X Amended Return, you will need to use either TaxACT Deluxe or the TaxACT Ultimate Bundle.
