Does tattoo shading cost more?
That would depend on whether or not you already have a tattoo done and want to get it shaded in now! If this is the case, I dont think it should cost too much at all. If you are getting a tattoo done from scratch and want it shaded, then ask your artist for a price. When I had my frog done, I was given a price, and when my artist was about to do the colour fills, he asked me if I wanted him to do something to make it look like it was sitting on my skin. He charged me no extra for doing so! I guess it is all part n parcel of getting the tattoo done? Like I said, your artist can answer your question.
