Tar98 does work in Windows 95 and Windows 98, but Tar98 only supports tape devices in Windows NT 4.0. What this means is that Tar98 can only read and write tar files in Windows 95 and Windows 98. When used in Windows NT 4.0, Tar98 can read and write tar tapes and floppies/diskettes as well.
