Does talent agencies need to know..?
They do if they are going to be taking a commission from your jobs. They probably also need to prove that you are legally allowed to work in the US. But it would be rare to ask for this information before you’ve even met them. Normally they would ask for this after they signed you, or at least were considering signing you but needed to first prove that you were a legal US resident.
