Does taking the pill for several years non-stop for endometriosis make you gain weight?

Hi there, I wish I had become a doctor, cause I’m so frustrated at the lack of help and answers from them, and I genuinely care that SO many women are suffering and seem to be expected to just endure it. I feel for you. First, yes, taking the pill can make you gain weight. More importantly, three weeks is WAY too long to be bleeding and in pain. Don’t let your doctor tell you that you have to keep taking it. He should have told you what to expect and how long it would take to adjust. I would immediately call that Dr. and let them know how long you have been bleeding and in pain. I would stop taking the pill, and ask for a different one. I would also try a different Dr.!!!! And yes, the pill can reduce your sex drive and make you gain weight. Dr.’s will tell you it’s only 5 pounds (on average), but I think they tend to minimize the weight gain. Note that Dr.’s get kickbacks for selling you certain pills!!! I also think they readily prescribe the pill without divulging the true possible
