Manuka honey (in fact most other honey) is mildly anti-bacterial. As acne isn’t caused by bacteria, it won’t have any effect. There are plenty of spoof sites on the net, but mainly set up to sell honey rather than anything else. (Personally I think it’s all down to Big Nectar pushing honey products but I have no proof).
