Does Suzuki outboards use stainless steel parts?

0

Lots of them. Suzuki uses a specialized marine-grade stainless steel (steel alloyed with chromium, nickel and other materials to create a strong, acid and corrosion-resistant material). We use it for propellers, propeller shafts, driveshafts, shift-rods, bolts, nuts and washers. All water pump housings on new prop-driven Suzuki outboards are also made of stainless steel, ensuring that corrosion does not form within the water pump.
