Does stronghold flea treatment prevent the fleas from jumping on the cat ?
No! The treatment is designed for the flea to jump on the animal (or human) then bite. Once the flea bites, it gets a dose of the poison and the poison will eventually kill it. Check with your Vet to get one of the medicines on the market that will not only kill fleas that bite your pet, but it also makes the flea sterile so they can’t lay eggs that will hatch before they die!
