Does Stonewall support field trips?
Field trips play an active part in the enrichment of many of our children’s units. Parents, friends, siblings, etc. are always welcome and encouraged to join us. On all-day all-school family field trips, Center hours will reflect field trip hours. For example, if we return to school at 4:45 p.m. from the aquarium, Stonewall will close at that time. This policy only applies to all-day all-school family field trips. [Return to Top] • Q: Do you have an outdoor playground? A: We have 4 play grounds customized for all ages of children. Maryland State Child Care regulations require daily outdoor play regardless of the weather conditions. Our policy states that if your child is healthy enough to be at the Center, he or she is able to participate in all activities. Children should be appropriately dressed for the weather: i.e. hats, gloves, scarves, boots, etc. In addition, sunscreen must be applied daily, prior to coming to daycare, as we will not apply it.
