Well, she herself has it posted on her own site, so apparently she has come to terms with people reading it…. Her most recent statment on HER site was from Aug 2008 where she said that it is on hold indefinately. (NOTE: On hold indefinately does not translate to “I am never going to finish it’…not sure why people are under that impression) http://stepheniemeyer.com/midnightsun.ht… In Nov 2008, she stated in an interview: “So my goal is to go for, like, I don’t know, two years without ever hearing the words Midnight Sun. And once I’m pretty sure that everyone’s forgotten about it, I think I’ll be able to get to the place where I’m alone with it again. Then I’ll be able to sneak in and work on it again. ” So, I guess you can look for it to be published, after she finishes it. http://www.ew.
