Does St. Peters teach more Religious Education than other schools?
No. We teach to the same National Curriculum as County schools although all the staff are Christians and this does influence all aspects of school life. So most of the children at St. Peter’s are Christians? No. Less than half of the children are Christians. We also have other faiths in the school – many of these children attend the school because it is a church school even though it is not their own faith. Will I have to attend church to get my children into the school? Not usually. The admission criteria are only applied if there are more than 35 applications.
