Does Spheris offer any pay during the training period?
No. During the training period, students are exposed to practice transcription files that have been specially prepared for training purposes. These files have been stripped of all confidential patient and physician identifying information. These are not revenue producing files. The Spheris Training Track gives students an opportunity to participate in a short period of intensive training without pay with the strong possibility of a seamless transition into productive employment with Spheris once the training has been successfully completed.
