Speculation in the world of art is dangerous because it is at the detriment of the artist and his work; if I imagine a hostile climb on a quoted company, I see around the very company great titles’ movements within a limited time period: who wishes to invest doesn’t care about the company but rather about speculation, so to obtain immediate income. The same way, artists are taken into consideration for their role played as commercial and financial strategies rather than for the goodness of their works of art. It is necessary not to look indistinctly at art but to activate selection mechanisms so that the work of art maintains its value and its artistic essence does not go missing. How? Quality and research: if I buy an artist it is because I put into action a search able to identify his qualities and increase the value through time.
