Does Spain use Standard or Military Time?
Both are used. I would say military time (i.e. the 24 hour clock) is most common in printed materials, like showings of movies and such, whereas when people speak amongst themselves standard time is more commonly used. I would say there is no hard and fast rule, however. If you want to be absolutely sure of avoiding confusion, just go with military time, or append to standard time something like “de la maƱana” (in the morning), “de la tarde” (in the afternoon), or “de la noche” (in the night).
