Does Sophos Anti-Virus check compressed and archived files?

0

Sophos Anti-Virus checks inside files compressed with LZEXE, PKLITE, UUENCODE and DIET. It can also be configured to check archives compressed with Zip, ARJ, TAR, GZIP, RAR, Unix ELF and the Unix command ‘compress’, and the Macintosh, Windows NT/2000/XP and NetWare versions can now scan inside Binhex and MacBinary files. Please refer to the documentation for instructions on how to enable this option. The InterCheck on-access scanner checks all files when they are decompressed.
