Does Sony Vaio have good laptops for the price?

0

I work in IT so I’ve done a lot of work building and repairing laptops. Here’s my opinions based on experience: Acer, Compaq: Unreliable and expensive to repair (I had to charge $600 to install a new DVD player). Sony: Rip-off (especially Vaio) HP: Average Gateway: I live in Australia so know little about Gateway. I’ve heard theyre quite good. Toshiba, Asus: The best if you spend over $1500. I’d be more inclined to go for Toshiba nowadays. Dell: The best if you spend under $1500. Their cheap laptops are the best value and are the most reliable. Apple: Good for multimedia. Hope this helps you pick a laptop. And try to get one with XP, not Vista, especially if it’s a cheap laptop, since it will run slow and also because Vista is a terible OS.
