Sonic did die in the “SONIC THE HEDGEHOG” game for the PS3 n 360…this led to Elise to cry thus braking the seal which released the “Flames of Disaster”…but Sonic’s soul hasn’t left the world yet…So Sonic’s friends go gather the seven chaos emeralds, knowing it cant put your thoughts into power thus reuniting Sonic’s soul with his body. Its like in DragonBallZ when Goku’s friends gather the seven dragonballs to wish Goku back to life.
