Does SONAR support multi-core, multi-processor, or hyper-threading systems?
With version 3.1.1, SONAR introduced a new audio engine that supports multiple CPUs. In cases where there are no compatibility problems, enabling hyper-threading or dual processors can give a tremendous improvement in performance. However, some dual or HT CPUs have been known to cause problems with some plug ins. If you experience problems, you can disable multi-threading in SONAR from the Tools menu. In the worst case, you can disable HT or multi-threading from your BIOS. Each release of SONAR improves the multi-processor support.
