Does someone have examples of successful distribution models for innovative FoodServices products?
Today, our FS products are being distributed by Distributors Companies that also distribute other products (some from our competitors). Unfortunately, they do not give proper focus in selling our products (FS products require some “technical” sales expertise and therefore, time) and compete with each other and with our direct sales team. If we introduce more innovative products, I am afraid this current model might not work (will require more time to sell and the salesperson has other products to sell). What would be other distribution models that I could use?
