I’m not really sure what you’re asking, but when you set up the application in MacX you supply it with a host name/userid/password and the command you want to execute… for Forms 4/Motif, it was ‘f40desm &’ On the Solaris side, you need to add a line similar to ‘display=:‘ to your login script (.cshrc), where is your Mac’s hostname as it appears in the DNS or in the hosts file. You can substitute your IP address for the hostname if you wish. It’s very possible that I have the syntax for the display statement incorrect. It’s been a while. Consult the MacX documentation for the exact syntax. Hope that helps.
