Does society need more education in introspective thinking and philosophy, or is there already enough wisdom?
Maybe teach some basic thinking first…then move on to heavy philosophy. Most grade-school students are taught like sheep: “The teacher said X, so X is true, and you’re stupid if you disagree” But critical thinking shouldn’t just be a college-level skill; it should be a basic skill, and no high-level science, math, philosophy, or any other discipline should even BEGIN to be taught until adequate critical thinking skills have been demonstrated.
