hard line socialist governments like those in Cuba and Venezuela do not. But even soft socialist countries like Canada and Mexico do not like it. Just like in the Soviet Union of the 1980s, you could “freely” dissent, but you wouldn’t get any of the benefits of the socialist welfare state.
